Navigating the Affordable Care Act

This seminar is designed for the tax practitioner.

The five taxes or tax increases imposed by the Affordable Care Act in 2013 will be covered in the seminar:
• Additional Medicare Tax on Wages
• Net Investment Income Tax
• Increased Threshold for Medical Expenses
• Limit on Health Care Flexible Spending Accounts

The seminar will also cover the four insurance mandates imposed by the Affordable Care Act:
• Individual Mandates
• Employer Mandates
• Hospital Mandates
• Insurance Company Mandates

In addition, the State Health Care Exchanges (Marketplaces) will be discussed.
